Hi, I’m Fernanda! People closest to me usually call me Fern. I’m a wife & mama to one almost 2 year old boy (Isaiah King) and a content creator. I’m originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Dallas, Texas, USA in July 2021 after marrying my Texan husband in February 2020. Now, you can find me making lifestyle YouTube videos, posting about real mom life on Instagram, and chasing my dreams while supporting my little family. I know these photos aren’t food related lol… They were actually taken back in January 2021, when I was 7 months pregnant with my son, Isaiah King💙 - but till this day these are my absolute favourite photos of myself!🥰
Cooking is in my blood!🩸 I’m a chef’s daughter & my inspiration for cooking has always been my dad @fersil44, the OG chef himself #iykyk 👨🏾‍🍳 I come from a long line of chefs in my family and it has been passed down from generation to generation, along with a family restaurant business in Bahia, Brazil (which is where my dad was born and raised)🇧🇷 #afroBrazilian🖤 I was born and raised in Toronto,ON🇨🇦.

If you’re new here, then you probably didn’t know I was an aspiring flight attendant and just when I was finally making my dreams a reality, COVID hit and the world shut down so I was laid off in June 2020, which happened to be the same month I got pregnant with my son. So I never ended up going back into that career because not only was I on maternity leave for a year, but I also end up up moving to Texas when my son was 4 months old. So it’s definitely been a WILD ride to say the least!
And now I just can’t imagine being apart from my baby boy to travel for work. But you never know what the future holds.. Anyone who knows me knows my extreme PASSION for aviation and travel! My “little” man turns 2 tomorrow (March 28th)😭🥹 but we had his birthday celebration this past weekend on Saturday the 25th… At this point I don’t even know why I still call him little man because he’s always been extremely tall since birth but is now half my size and I’m 5’8” just for reference 🤯 always been 98th percentile for height which means he’s taller than 98% of kids his age!
